LATEST CHANGE

At the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023, the resident population of the city was 2.651 million. Among them, the urban resident population was 1.6129 million, accounting for 60.84% of the total population (the urbanization rate of the resident population), an increase of 0.84 percentage points over the previous year.

The birth population in the whole year was 15,900, with a birth rate of 6.01‰; the death population was 20,900, with a mortality rate of 7.89‰; and the natural growth rate was -1.88‰. At the end of the year, the registered population of the city was 3.1368 million, a decrease of 14,700 compared with the previous year. Among them, the urban population was 1.1634 million, and the rural population was 1.9734 million.
