BASIC INFORMATION
Bozhou City, known as Bozhou in ancient times and Qiao City in modern times, is a prefecture-level city in Anhui Province located in the northwestern part of the province.
It is situated at the southern tip of the North China Plain and falls within the geographical coordinates of 115°53′ to 116°49′ east longitude and 32°51′ to 35°05′ north latitude.
Bozhou is bordered to the north by Shangqiu City in Henan Province, to the west by Luyi County in Zhoukou City, to the southwest by Fuyang City in Anhui Province, to the east by Huaibei and Bengbu cities in Anhui Province, and to the southeast by Huainan City.
It serves as the junction of Anhui and Henan provinces and has a total administrative area of 8,374 square kilometers.
