BASIC INFORMATION
Fuyang City is a prefecture-level city in Anhui Province with the abbreviation "Fu". It is also known as Ru Yin, Shun Chang, and Yingzhou in ancient times.
It is located between 114°52′ and 116°49′ east longitude and 32°25′ and 34°04′ north latitude, covering a total area of 10,118.2 square kilometers.
The entire territory belongs to the plain terrain with flat landforms. As of May 2023, the city administers three urban districts, four counties, and one subordinate county-level city.
Fuyang City is located at the southern edge of the warm temperate zone and belongs to the warm temperate semi-humid monsoon climate. The monsoon is obvious, the four seasons are distinct, the climate is mild, and the rainfall is moderate.
