BASIC INFORMATION
Xuancheng City, referred to as "Xuan" for short, has a long history, known as Xuanchou and Wanning in ancient times.
It is a prefecture-level city in Anhui Province and is located in the central region of the Yangtze River Delta.
It falls within the geographical coordinates of 29°57′ to 31°19′ north latitude and 117°58′ to 119°40′ east longitude.
As of October 2023, Xuancheng City administers one district, four counties, and two subordinate prefecture-level cities. The government of Xuancheng City is seated at No. 31 Aofeng East Road in Xuanzhou District.
