Jiangsu Province, referred to as "Su", is a provincial-level administrative region of the People's Republic of China, with Nanjing as its capital city. It is located in the Yangtze River Delta region and on the east coast of mainland China. It spans a latitude of 30°45' to 35°08' north and a longitude of 116°21' to 121°56'. It borders Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui, and Shandong. With a total area of 107,200 square kilometers, Jiangsu Province has 13 prefecture-level cities and 95 counties (cities, districts) at the end of 2021.
Jiangsu Province is dominated by plains, with a land area of 103,229.17 square kilometers. The peak of Yunyu Peak at Yuntai Mountain in Lianyungang is the highest peak in Jiangsu Province at 625 meters above sea level.
