BASIC INFORMATION
Jilin Province, referred to as "Ji", is a provincial administrative region of China. It is located in the central part of the Northeast China region, bordering Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, and Heilongjiang provinces.
It also shares a border with Russia and North Korea, and is located in the geographical center of Northeast Asia. The total area of Jilin Province is 187,400 square kilometers. Jilin Province belongs to the temperate continental monsoon climate, and its dialect is Northeastern Mandarin. It is subordinated to 8 prefecture-level cities and 1 autonomous prefecture, with the capital city being Changchun City.
The government seat is located at No. 329 Xinfatu Street in Changchun City. The famous scenic spots include Changchun Movie Studio Centennial City, Jingyuetan, Wai Man Palace, Songhua Lake, Xianghai, and Changbai Mountain.
